Irving Park Shooting Wounds Man Standing Outside

CHICAGO — A 23-year-old man was shot in Irving Park early Monday, police said.

At 12:10 a.m., the man was standing on the sidewalk in the 3100 block of West Byron Street when someone walked up to him and fired shots, police said.

Bullets grazed the man's neck and back and he refused medical attention, police said.

No one was in custody.

No further information was immediately available.
