CHICAGO — Shootings have killed two people and wounded six since Thursday, police said.

• At 2:29 a.m. Friday, a 30-year-old man was found shot to death in North Lawndale.

• At 7:24 a.m. Thursday, an 18-year-old man was gunned down in North Lawndale.

In non-fatal shootings:

• At 5:52 a.m. Friday, a 46-year-old man was shot in Garfield Park, police said. The man was in the 3100 block of West Madison Street when he was shot in his legs.

The man was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

The man was uncooperative, a police source said, and no further information was immediately available.

• At 11:48 p.m. Thursday, a 30-year-old woman was shot in South Shore, police said. The woman was sitting in a parked car in the 6700 block of South East End Avenue when someone fired shots.

The woman was hit in her head and she took herself to Jackson Park Hospital in critical condition, police said. She was transferred to Stroger Hospital.

• At 11:21 p.m., a 23-year-old man was shot in Grand Crossing, police said. The man was sitting in the driver's seat of a parked car in the 400 block of West Winneconna Parkway when two people got out of a car and walked up to the man.

The two people had guns and they forced the man out of his car and then fired shots, police said. The man was hit in his left leg and was taken to a hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

The carjackers drove away in the man's car, police said.

• At 10:39 p.m., a 21-year-old man was shot in Austin, police said. The man was standing on the sidewalk in the 5200 block of West Adams Street when two people walked up to him and fired shots.

The man was hit in his left leg and he took himself ot West Suburban Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

The shooting was possibly gang-related, a police source said.

• At 1:43 p.m., two men were shot while driving on the Dan Ryan Expressway near the 71st Street exit in Englewood.

No one was in custody in these shootings.
