Patrick Thompson Jr., 30, Shot To Death In North Lawndale

CHICAGO — A 30-year-old man was found shot to death in North Lawndale early Friday, police said.

At 2:29 a.m., the man was found unresponsive in the 1100 block of South Troy Street, police said. He had been shot in his head and died.

The man was identified as Patrick Thompson Jr., of the 2200 block of West Adams, in Cook County Medical Examiner's Office records. Thompson was pronounced dead at 2:37 a.m. and an autopsy showed he died from multiple gunshot wounds in his head in a homicide.

The shooting was possibly gang-related, a police source said.

No one was in custody.
