DOWNTOWN — Heated "river domes" are returning to City Winery on the Riverwalk soon, allowing guests to dine outside but not in the cold.

The domes can be rented out from Sept. 18 to Nov. 27 at the Riverwalk restaurant just west of the State Street Bridge.

Reservations last 2½ hours and cost $25 per person, as well as a $60 food and drink minimum per guest. Each dome is outfitted with furniture and a Bluetooth speaker and can be booked online.

The prices are slightly cheaper than the domes City Winery debuted this spring, which started at $100 per person but included food and drink. A spokeswoman for the winery said the new structure allows guests to choose whatever they want on the menu.

City Winery will roll out four domes that seat up to eight people Sept. 18. Two more domes that can seat up to 15 people will go up Oct. 2. The two big domes can be combined for parties of up to 30 people.

The Riverwalk restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. till Nov. 27.
