CHINATOWN — Visitors to Strings Ramen on Saturday will be able to enjoy their ramen with a side of charitable giving.

The restaurant's locations in Chinatown and Lakeview will donate 15 percent of each guest check from 11 a.m.-midnight Saturday to victims of Hurricane Harvey. The money will be given to the American Red Cross to help "the thousands in Houston affected by Hurricane Harvey," the restaurant said in a press release.

Strings opened up a second location at 919 W. Belmont Ave. in July. The first restaurant opened in 2014 at 2141 S. Archer Ave.
