NORTH MAYFAIR — Labor Day weekend may be the unofficial end to summer, but that doesn't mean the fun is over yet.

The Bikes, Bites & Brews fest, running Friday through Sunday in North Mayfair, has something for everyone — family activities, a beer garden, food trucks, live music and more.

The festival is centered at Lawrence and Kostner avenues (4800 North/4400 West). Hours are 6-10 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday.

The highlights:

Bikes

Hit the fest at 9 a.m. Saturday to fuel up with Beavers doughnuts and coffee before a 10 a.m. family ride along the North Branch Trail. Staff from Tailwind Cycles will pump up tires, hold free safety checks, and offer tune-up and repair services.

Bites

In addition to food trucks, a little neighborhood spot called Seafood City will be providing eats on Saturday. Tina's Chicago will also be on hand all three days of the fest.

Brews

Here's the beer and cider lineup, available all three days: Alarmist, Begyle, Lake Effect, Old Irving Brewing, Revolution and Right Bee Cider. Note, taps don't start flowing until noon on Saturday and Sunday.

And More

Swing by Sunday morning for a game of Bingo, 10 a.m. to noon. Sunday's Kidz Korner, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., will keep youngsters entertained with inflatables, crafts and games.

Admission is a suggested donation of $5 for adults; seniors and children under age 12 are free. Proceeds from the festival will benefit the North Mayfair Improvement Association's mural and public art committee.
