LOGAN SQUARE — Mystery solved.

The group behind Scofflaw, Slippery Slope and the dearly departed Sink|Swim finally revealed details about its new bar on the northwest corner of Kedzie and Armitage avenues, which is set to open sometime this fall.

The bar will be called The Moonlighter — and it'll be the group's "most casual to date," according to a news release.

Scofflaw's original team — Danny Shapiro, Andy Gould and Kristofer Nagy — is behind The Moonlighter, 3204 W. Armitage Ave., described as a "relaxed neighborhood bar where guests are invited to 'come as they are.'"

The bar will have a sidewalk-facing, 2,000-square-foot patio with built-in fireplaces to host patrons year-round.

Unlike Scofflaw, The Moonlighter won't specialize in just one spirit. The bar's drink menu will include a variety of craft cocktails with a "strong emphasis" on sours, Rosé — on tap or by the shot — as well as 20 draft beers.

Food-wise, expect an "all-American" menu complete with burgers, hot wings, nachos and loaded fries.

“With The Moonlighter, we’re back on the original corner of Armitage with the same team that first kicked things off, but it’s really exciting to see how many great things have grown around us," partner Danny Shapiro said in a prepared statement.

More information, including an exact opening date, will be released in the coming weeks.

Chicago Magazine was first to report the details.
