CHICAGO — A 16-year-old boy had his phone stolen at gunpoint while he walked through Dunning on Sunday night, police said.

At 9:50 p.m., the teen was in the 3300 block of North Oriole Avenue when another teenager walked up and grabbed his phone, according to Officer Thomas Sweeney, a Chicago Police spokesman.

When the 16-year-old asked for his phone back, the robber showed a gun, and the teen ran away, Sweeney said.

Police described the robber as a Hispanic youth between the ages of 15 and 20 years old.

No one was in custody, police said.
