CHICAGO — A 16-year-old boy was shot dead in Humboldt Park on Saturday, officials said.
At 3:48 a.m., the teen was in the 3600 block of West Ohio Street when he was shot in his back, police said. He was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition.
Theotis Luckett, of the 600 block of North Monticello, was pronounced dead at 5:25 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office. An autopsy showed he died from a gunshot wounds in his back in a homicide.
No one was in custody.
