RAVENSWOOD — Head to Ravenswood's Malt Row for the grand finale of the inaugural season of Chicago's Friday Night Flights craft beer series.

The event is set for 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 1800 W. Belle Plaine Ave. Admission is $15, good for 10 three-ounce pours. Tickets are available for purchase in advance online, $20 at the door.

Participating breweries are: Begyle, Half Acre, Spiteful, Dovetail, Band of Bohemia, Old Irving Brewing, Maplewood and Alarmist.

The Illinois Craft Brewers Guild and Choose Chicago announced "Friday Night Flights" in May: seven fests, scheduled between June and August, each held in a different neighborhood brewing hub.

In a recent interview with WGN-TV, Mayor Rahm Emanuel said of craft brewing, "I want to make this for Chicago...what wines are for Napa Valley."

Friday Night Flights has made stops in Bridgeport, Bucktown, Lincoln Park, Bronzeville, the Riverwalk and West Loop before closing out in Ravenswood.
