CHICAGO — A 26-year-old man was killed in a drive-by shooting in Chicago Lawn early Monday, police said.
At 12:10 a.m., the man was standing in the street in the 3000 block of West 60th Street when a tan-colored car drove by and someone inside fired shots, police said.
The man was hit multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The man was identified as Javier Pantoja, of an unknown home address, in Cook County Medical Examiner's Office records. Pantoja was pronounced dead at 12:25 a.m.
No one was in custody.
