WOODLAWN — Police issued a warning after two recent robberies in the neighborhood.
In each incident, the robber walked up to the victim, announced a robbery and then fled on foot.
The incidents occurred:
• 2:15 p.m. July 22 in the 6700 block of Stony Island Avenue
• 10:05 p.m. July 27 in the 6700 block of Stony Island Avenue
The robber was described as a black male, 5-foot-9 to 6-feet, 150-175 pounds, and with dreadlocks.
