BRIDGEPORT — Bridgeport's biggest garage sale will take this place this weekend.
The 11th annual fundraiser, called Bridgeport's Biggest Garage Sale, will be from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday at St. Mary's of Perpetual Help, 1039 W. 32nd Place.
More than 25 vendors will be on hand, and the church will sell items like tools, toys, electronics, furniture, home decorations and many other items donated to the church.
Hundreds of items will be priced at $1, according to the church. The garage sale will feature a "power hour" at 5 p.m., when items will be discounted for the hour before the event ends.
Vendor tables sell for $35 each and can be reserved at the church's office during normal business hours, according to the church. Donations will be accepted at the church between 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday and Friday, but the church will not accept bedding, mattresses, clothing or large entertainment centers.
Volunteers will be needed to help customers and to move larger items. Anyone interested in volunteering should call the office at 773- 927-6646.
