DOWNTOWN — The show will go on in Millennium Park on Thursday night.

The park's evening concert, set to feature the bands Drive-by Truckers and Honeysuckle, will start as normal at 6:30 p.m. despite the morning's foul weather. That could change later in the day, though.

"At this point the concert is still on; however, we are monitoring the weather closely," a spokeswoman for the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events said in an email. "As with all of our events, safety is the No. 1 concern and we will make a call later today."

Heavy rains Wednesday night and Thursday morning meant flooding was possible in parts of the city, the National Weather Service warned. More storms are expected Thursday afternoon and evening.
