Package Theft Video Shows How Easy It Is To Steal In The Daytime

IRVING PARK — A home security camera caught a brazen package thief in action, showing how easy it is to steal in the daytime.

Video of the crime, which occurred Saturday in the 4100 block of North Drake Avenue, was shared by the homeowner online. Click here to view.

It took less than a minute, on a busy street, for the thief to nab the package behind a locked gate. The semi-good news is that the delivery company replaced the stolen item — a Bluetooth speaker — after being shown the video, according to the homeowner.

Then circles the yard as another car comes down the street ...

When the coast is clear, she stretches her arm to the max to reach the package ...

Then nonchalantly walks away.
