CHICAGO — A man was killed and two others were wounded in a shooting Friday evening in Bronzeville, police said,
The three men were shot while in the first block of West Pershing Road around 6 p.m.
A 21-year-old man was shot in his abdomen and shoulder, police said. He was taken to Stroger Hospital.
Maurice Hunter, of the 800 block of East 89th Place, was pronounced dead at 9:24 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office. An autopsy showed he died from multiple gunshot wounds in a homicide.
A 19-year-old man was shot in his head and hand. A 22-year-old man was shot in his back and is in serious condition. Both were also sent to Stroger.
No one is in custody.
