CHICAGO — The 70s-era "sunshine pop" band The Buckinghams and '80s cover band 16 Candles will headline the 17th annual Jefferson Park Arts & Music Festival — better known as "Jeff Fest" — in Jefferson Park on Friday and Sunday, organizers announced.
This year, the festival at Jefferson Memorial Park, 4822 N. Long Ave., will feature two different stages and about 25 distinct vendors, including at least four food stands, organizers said.
Plus, a $20 pass gets visitors in on a wine tasting set to be hosted from 3-6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The tasting will include up to 15 samples.
Sponsored by the Jefferson Park Chamber of Commerce, Jeff Fest will run from 6-10 p.m. Friday, 2-10 p.m. Saturday and 2-8 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $5 for adults but free for kids 12 and under and $2 for seniors 65 or older.
