EDGEWATER — Once the summer hits, Chicago's parks transform into outdoor neighborhood movie theaters.
This year on the Far North Side, recent blockbusters like "Hidden Figures," "Finding Dory" and "The Lego Batman Movie" will show in between classics like 1988's "Hairspay" and "Pretty In Pink" throughout the area's parks.
At Loyola Beach in Rogers Park, Spanish-speakers can also catch one of the city's few movies presented in Spanish, "Yo soy un Politico/I am a Politician."
Movies are presented by the Chicago Park District and Edgewater Film Festival.
