HYDE PARK — Hyde Park gets a little extra Shakespeare in the park with a performance of “Twelfth Night” by the local community theater this weekend.

The Hyde Park Community Players will perform the comedy by William Shakespeare Friday, Saturday and Sunday and July 21-23 in Nichols Park, 1355 E. 53rd St.

The play follows two twins separated as they try to navigate a complex web of love interests amid instances of cross dressing and mistaken identity.

Performances are at 6:30 p.m. Fridays and 6 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.

The performance is free and open to the public.
