ENGLEWOOD — The community is invited to hear about the proposed Englewood high school and more at the Resident Association of Greater Englewood's Tuesday meeting.

The association is inviting all residents to the meeting from 6-8 p.m. at Hope Manor II, 6002 S. Halsted St.

Topics include the new proposed high school, new businesses coming to the 63rd Street corridor thanks to the Retail Thrive Zone grant program, and how to build power in one's community through an interactive exercise. There will be guest presenters from the Greater Englewood Community Action Council, Englewood Thrive Zone Collective and Fighting to Overcome Records and Create Equality.

There will also be updates on So Fresh Saturday, the Englewood Quality of Life Plan's Public Safety Task Force and more.

The assocation holds bi-monthly community meetings for Greater Englewood residents and leaders to "gather to connect, build and take action to force a change in the community," the group said.
