
WOODLAWN — Police are searching for two people on bikes who robbed someone in front of the University of Chicago Press building, according to University of Chicago police.
At 10 p.m. Friday, a university employee was walking in front of the press building, 1427 E. 60th St., when two people rode up on bikes, one armed with a handgun, who demanded the victim's cellphone and money, according to university police.
The two alleged robbers took the phone and cash and biked off west on 60th Street.
The victim reported no injuries.
University police are increasing patrols in the area after the incident.
