Head to cocktail bar Billy Sunday, 3143 W. Logan Blvd., to celebrate America with a pig roast and boozy slushies galore. The event, done in partnership with Jim Beam, kicks off at 2 p.m.
For $35, ticket-holders will get a plate of roast pork with mustard and housemade bourbon barbecue sauce, choice of sides, a slice of apple pie and one cocktail.
Sides include potato salad, coleslaw, braised greens, pimento cheese, house pickles, corn on the cob, cornbread and broccoli salad.
In addition to peach whiskey sour slushies, the cocktail bar will be serving a variety of craft cocktails a la carte like blueberry margaritas and gin and tonics.
