WICKER PARK — No need to bring an umbrella along with your picnic basket to "Raising Arizona" on Thursday in Wicker Park's namesake park, because organizers plan to reschedule the outdoor flick for sometime in September in the event of rain.

Doug Wood, events coordinator with the Wicker Park Advisory Council, a volunteer group that collaborates with the Chicago Park District, confirmed the rain plan on Wednesday in an email to Park District officials.

Set to start at 8:30 p.m. Thursday and end at 10:04 p.m., "Raising Arizona" stars Nicholas Cage as H.I. McDunnough, a kind-hearted ex-con who steals a baby.

"Raising Arizona" is the second of 5 Cage flicks that will screen in the park's themed "Summer of Nick Cage" series. The Wormhole Coffee Shop devised the idea for the series, and has helped to sponsor many of the movies.

Evening storms are a possibility on Thursday evening.

Check the Wicker Park Advisory Council on Twitter or Facebook for updates on Thursday night's plans, the city's Movies in the Parks Facebook page, or use the call-in hotline: 312- 742-1134 for cancelation information.

The park is located at 1425 N. Damen Ave.

After Thursday, here is the rest of the summer movie schedule:

• "National Treasure" — 8:30-10:41 p.m. July 6

• "The Wicker Man" — 8:15-9:57 p.m. July 20

• "Gone in 60 Seconds" — 8-9:58 p.m. Aug. 24
