HYDE PARK — Police are warning of a recent string of late-night robberies involving a man in a white car.
In two instances a man jumped out of a white compact car and allegedly physically attacked and robbed people walking down the street in Wentworth Police District, according to police.
The first robbery was at 1 a.m. Wednesday on the 5100 block of South Blackstone Avenue, followed by a 11:30 p.m. robbery Friday on the 900 block of East 50th St.
Police were unable to provide an identifying description of anyone involved in the two robberies.
