NORTH PARK — Don't be alarmed if a wailing noise emerges from Bohemian National Cemetery on the evening of the summer solstice.
It's the annual Beyond the Gate concert, not the dead rising from their graves.
This year's lineup of musical acts includes headliner Body/Head, a guitar duo featuring Sonic Youth's Kim Gordon and Vampire Belt's Bill Nace.
The show gets underway at 7 p.m. with a performance of abstract modern art rock from the trio FACS, followed by the band Diamond Terrifier Cipher.
Tickets to the concert, which takes place outdoors near the cemetery's mausoleum, are $20 and available for purchase online.
The show is sponsored by the Empty Bottle and Half Acre. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Bohemian National Cemetery and the Albany Park Community Center.
