LINCOLN SQUARE — Folks will have to get their slice of French sidewalk cafe culture elsewhere, at least for the next week, while Le Cafe takes a short break.

Owner Danielle Papakanelou is planning what she promised will be a brief hiatus, with a grand reopening set for June 15 at 4655 N. Lincoln Ave.

She'll use the time in part to recharge but also to train staff for an upcoming shift to table service, which customers can expect as of the reopening.

Most of the menu will remain intact, though Papakanelou said she is aiming to add more gluten-free and paleo options.
