CHICAGO — A woman answering a knock on the back door of her Albany Park home was shot early Saturday morning, police said.
The incident occurred in the 4600 block of North Monticello Avenue at 12:40 a.m.
The woman, 29, answered the knock from her rear porch and was shot in her abdomen.
She was taken to an area hospital and no one is in custody.
