CHICAGO — Antonio Wilson, 30, was shot and killed in Washington Park on Thursday night, officials said.
At 6 p.m., the man was walking in the 5100 block of South Prairie Avenue when a car pulled up and someone got out of the car and fired shots at him, police said. He was shot in the head.
Wilson, of the 7600 block of South Sangamon, was pronounced dead at midnight, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
The man was a documented gang member, a police source said.
No one was in custody.
