CHICAGO — A 31-year-old man has been charged with murder after he forced his way into an Englewood home and fatally shot a man inside, police said.
At 11:47 a.m. Thursday, Waddel Adams forced his way into an apartment in the 6500 block of South Laflin Street and shot a 30-year-old man inside the apartment multiple times, police said. Police said hte two had been arguing earlier.
The victim was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Adams was arrested just minutes after the shooting in the 6700 block of South Throop Street, police said. He has been charged with first-degree murder, home invasion with a gun and unlawful use of a weapon.
