CHICAGO — Bobby Lloyd, 30, was shot to death in Englewood on Thursday, officials said.
At 11:47 a.m., the man was in the 6500 block of South Laflin Street when he got into an argument with another person and the person shot him, police said.
The man was hit multiple times in his chest and his torso and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in critical condition, police said.
Lloyd, of the same block where he was killed, was pronounced dead at 12:45 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office. An autopsy showed he died from multiple gunshot wounds in a homicide.
A person was in custody and charges were pending, police said.
