UPTOWN — Heeding advice and feedback from area residents, the team behind a new building coming to Clark Street have unveiled a revised development plan that reduces both the number of floors and the number of units.

Initially, the condo building proposed by the Longford Group at 4537- 4545 N. Clark St. was a five-story, 24-unit condo building. But new renderings show a four-story, 18-unit building.

The first floor still includes a retail space and 24 parking spaces. The new renderings also suggest the addition of a rooftop deck.

Stoneberg and Gross Architects are listed as the architects of the development, according to the application.

The Longford Group also provided shadow studies for December, June and March, which residents asked for at a community meeting in May.

Dover Street Neighbors will review the project at its June meeting, said Tressa Feher, chief of staff for Ald. James Cappleman (46th).
