CHICAGO — A ramp and shoulder will be closed on the Dan Ryan Expressway on Thursday.
The closures are needed so workers can repair overhead signs, according to an IDOT news release.
The entrance ramp from 35th Street to the Dan Ryan will be closed from 9 a.m.-2 p.m., IDOT said. Drivers can go south on Wentworth Avenue to get to the southound Dan Ryan at the Pershing Road/39th Street entrance ramp.
The right shoulder in southbound Dan Ryan local lanes will be closed, as well.
Drivers should prepare for delays and plan extra time into their trips, IDOT said.
