Irving Park Shooting Leaves Man In Critical Condition

CHICAGO — A 43-year-old man was shot while driving a van in Irving Park early Saturday morning, police said.

The man was driving in the 4100 block of North St. Louis Avenue about 2:24 a.m. when someone in a passing vehicle shot at him, police said.

The victim was hit in the back of his head and taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in critical condition. 

Police say the incident is possibly gang-related and no one is in custody.
