RAVENSWOOD MANOR — Mother Nature can't decide whether it's spring or summer, but it's most definitely garage sale season.
The weekend boasts not one, not two, but three massive opportunities for bargain-hunters to search for deals.
Saturday
• It's one-stop shopping at the Independence Park Advisory Council's yard sale, with sellers clustered in the park, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., 3945 N. Springfield Ave. Concessions will be available for purchase.
• More than 100 neighbors in West Walker have registered their homes for the community's yard sale, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Look for parking lots at 3938 W. Belle Plaine Ave. and 4111 N. Pulaski Ave. West Walker is bounded by Irving Park Road, Montrose, Central Park and Pulaski (see map).
Sunday
Ravenswood Manor hosts one of the most popular community-wide yard sales, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
More than 140 households are participating (see map), rain or shine.
