KENWOOD — Wentworth District Police will be out on special patrol Saturday night looking for drunken drivers.
The rotating crackdown on drunken driving and seat belt violations will target the district, which covers Bronzeville, Kenwood and Hyde Park and includes portions of South Lake Shore Drive.
It’s the first time the patrol has come to the district since March, when police issued 51 tickets. Though three vehicles were towed, no arrests were made, according to police.
The latest special patrol starts at 6 p.m. Saturday and runs through 2 a.m. Sunday.
