ROSCOE VILLAGE — A man robbed the Byline Bank across from Lane Tech College Prep High School Tuesday morning, according to the FBI.

It's the second Byline Bank targeted by the same thief in less than a week, following a robbery Saturday at the bank's 1401 W. Belmont Ave. location.

Chicago police officers responded to a call of a bank robbery shortly after 9 a.m. at 3401 N. Western Ave., Police News Affairs confirmed.

No injuries were reported and the amount of money taken was not disclosed.

The suspect, last seen heading east on Roscoe Street, is described as a white man, 5-foot-10 inches to 6 foot tall, with blue eyes and tattoos on his neck and arms. During Tuesday's robbery, he was wearing a dark gray sweater and blue jeans, according to the FBI.

Law enforcement informed Lane Tech's administration about the robbery and no lockdown was deemed necessary, according to officials.
