CHICAGO — Warren Delton, 44, was found shot to death in Woodlawn on Sunday, officials said.
At 12:13 p.m., witnesses heard gunshots and found the man lying on the sidewalk in the 6100 block of South Eberhart Avenue, police said. The man had been shot in his head multiple times.
Delton, of an unknown home address, was pronounced dead at 12:28 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
He was a documented gang member, a police source said.
No one was in custody.
