
HYDE PARK — The University of Chicago is hosting a free screening of “Hidden Figures” with women scientists from the university.
The film about some of the first black women scientists to work for NASA will play at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Polsky Exchange, 1452 E. 53rd St.
After the screening women scientists from the physics and chemistry departments will talk about the film at 3:10 p.m.
Tickets are free, but space is limited and registering is encouraged by visiting the event website.
