CHICAGO — A possible prank call led to DuSable Leadership Academy going into lockdown on Wednesday, police said.

At 2:44 p.m., officers went to the school after receiving a report of a person with a gun inside the school, 4934 S. Wabash Ave., police said. No injuries were reported and there was no active shooter.

A dog was brought in for a final search of the school, but no gun was found, police said.

The incident may have stemmed from a prank call, police said. No one was in custody.
