CHICAGO — Harry Davis Jr., 19, died after three people entered a Kenwood apartment Friday afternoon and shot him multiple times, including in the head, officials said.
The incident occurred at 4:51 p.m. at an apartment in the 4500 block of South Drexel Boulevard. The victim entered the apartment before three unknown male gunmen also entered and shot him.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, where police also found a weapon.
Davis, of the 5600 block of South Prairie Avenue, was pronounced dead at 5:05 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office. An autopsy showed he died of a gunshot wound in his chest in a homicide.
No arrests have been made.
