THE LOOP — How's your morning going? Probably better than this truck driver, who got his big rig stuck under the "L" tracks Tuesday, blocking Loop traffic.
Morning commuters saw the semi truck stuck under the Lake Street "L" tracks between State Street and Wabash Avenue before 9 a.m. Tuesday.
Police were out detouring traffic around the blocked intersection as commuters headed to work. One passerby shared a photo with WGN-TV anchor Lourdes Duarte, who posted the pic to her Facebook page.
It's unclear how long the truck will stay under the tracks. Police spokespeople said they had no record of the incident, and a spokesman for the city's department of transportation did not immediately return a message seeking comment.
