IRVING PARK — Pull your bike out of storage and bring it to Templestowe Pub for a checkup Wednesday night.

No, the pub's bartenders aren't pulling double duty — mechanics from the newly opened Tailwind Cycles will be on hand for a pop-up repair shop.

They'll pump up your tires, offer free assessments and perform on-the-spot minor repairs (for regular shop rates).

The best part: Templestowe, 3135 W. Montrose Ave., will serve free beers to folks while they wait for their bike (one gratis brew per person) .

The event runs 6:30-9 p.m.
