LINCOLN SQUARE — Galter Life Center is competing against other medical fitness facilities around the country in this week's Move150 challenge, with a goal of tallying the greatest number of "moving minutes" between April 24 and April 30.
To rack up as many minutes by as many people as possible, Galter, 5157 N. Francisco Ave., is offering free one-week passes to non-members during the challenge.
Pick up a pass and complete 150 minutes of activities — biking, swimming, lifting weights, working your core or just stretching — which is the amount of weekly exercise recommended by the American College of Sports Medicine.
Participants who complete the 150 minutes will be entered in a raffle for prizes that include a one-month unlimited membership and a personal training or private pilates session.
