RAVENSWOOD — Hard to believe, but it's been a year since the death of Prince shocked the world.
To commemorate the anniversary on Friday, Empirical Brewery will tap a special firkin of "Vanilla Rain" — a cold fusion cream ale flavored with vanilla beans a cacao nibs.
Prince tunes will be playing all day in the brewery's taproom, 1801 W. Foster Ave., as Empirical celebrates the musical genius of His Royal Badness.
