CHICAGO — A 36-year-old man was stabbed in his forehead while riding the Red Line on Wednesday night, police said.
At 7:30 p.m., the man was on a CTA train near the 100 block of West 35th Street when he got into an argument with a 26-year-old man, police said. The two started to fight and the younger man hit the older man's face and stabbed his forehead, police said.
The man was taken to Northwestern Hospital in serious condition, police said.
A man was in custody and charges were pending.
