THE LOOP — The Blackhawks' season may be on the brink, but that didn't stop this man from repping the team while robbing a Loop bank Tuesday, federal authorities said.

The man was wearing a Blackhawks hat when he held up the Fifth Third Bank at 1 S. Dearborn St. at 4:18 p.m., the FBI said. He did not use a weapon and the amount he took from the bank was not disclosed.

Authorities described the suspect as a 5-foot-11 to 6-foot-1 black man with a thin build. He wore a white button-down shirt, glasses and the Blackhawks hat during the robbery.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call the FBI's Chicago office at 312-421-6700.

The Blackhawks, down 0-3 in their first-round playoff series, face elimination Thursday night against the Predators in Nashville.
