WOODLAWN — A delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint in broad daylight Monday, according to the University of Chicago police.
The university police issued an alert Monday after a man was held up at gunpoint while delivering food.
The man was walking back to his car at 1:45 p.m. Monday on the 6200 block of South Ingleside Avenue when three people walked up to him, one armed with a handgun.
The three people took the man’s keys and wallet, leaving him unharmed, according to police.
University police said the incident is being investigated by the Chicago Police Department.
