At least one nearby school temporarily went on lockdown after the shooting.

No further information was immediately available.

• At 11:26 a.m., a 19-year-old man was shot in Washington Heights, police said. The man was a passenger in a car in the 800 block of West 99th Street when he was shot in his legs.

The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in serious condition, police said.
