MORGAN PARK — A one-woman show that delves into the stories of powerful women from Ireland's history will be shown at the Beverly Art Center.

Savannah Rae will perform "Daughters of Ire" at 7 p.m. April 27-29 and 2 p.m. April 30 at the center, 2407 W. 111th St.

Rae, a Chicago resident, will perform in the studio theater and said her performance focuses on the women of the Ulster Cycle — a story of Irish mythology. The show looks at the relationships the women have with violence.

Tickets cost $22, or $20 for members of the arts center. For more information, visit the art center's website or call 773-445-3838.
