Hopleaf Wins Big At Andersonville Honors Ceremony

ANDERSONVILLE — The Andersonville Chamber of Commerce honored local businesses for their impact on the community, eco-friendliness and more at the Andersonville Honors awards this week.

The sixth-annual celebration was hosted Wednesday by the pH Comedy Theater at Mary's Attic, 5400 N. Clark St., and featured awards voted on by local residents.

Hopleaf Bar, 5148 N. Clark St., was the big winner, taking home the Good Neighbor Award and Best Place to Drink Award, according to the chamber.

Arts Organization/Business of the Year: Andersonville Galleria, 5247 N. Clark St.

Service Organization of the Year: Revive Massage Therapy and Spa, 4860 N. Clark St.

Best Place to Eat: Little Bad Wolf, 1541 W. Bryn Mawr Ave.

Best Place to Shop: Women and Children First Bookstore, 5233 N. Clark St.

Hidden Gem Award: First Slice Pie Cafe, 5357 N. Ashland Ave.

Eco-Andersonville Award: Mena Tours and Travel, 5209 N. Clark St., and Andies, 5253 N. Clark St.

Audience Choice Award: Jameson Loves Danger, 5208 N. Clark St.

Mathiasson Award: Donald Courtelyou
